Birch bark extract<\/a>, betulinic acid powder is a naturally occurring five-ring triterpenoid compound. Betulinic acid has been found to be active against cancer, various forms of herpes and even AIDS. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-malaria effects, and is cytotoxic to many tumors.<\/p>\n

Betulin is called betulin and belongs to acyclic triterpenoids. It is suitable for white crystalline powder with a melting point of 248~251\u00b0C (methanol-chloroform). Soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform and benzene, slightly soluble in cold water and petroleum ether.<\/p>\n
